ABOUT ME

I am a freelance wedding florist based in Exmouth, Devon, but covering all areas of the South West. I trained at the British Academy of Floral Art in Dunchideock and have learned from Master Florists and Chelsea Gold Medal winning tutors. 

As a trained florist I have the skills and expertise to create any style  that you can imagine but I cannot deny that I have a penchant for beautifully harmonious colour palettes and lots of gorgeous textures. I love the way that flowers can evoke emotion, express personalities, and create breathtaking atmospheres at the most special occasions in life. It is a real privilege to be able to work with flowers in such a meaningful way.

I firmly believe that you should be able to enjoy the wedding planning process.  Once we have met and discussed all the details I will provide you with a detailed wedding proposal containing costings, mood boards and design styles which will allow you to visualise the overall look and feel of your day.  My approach is friendly and relaxed but professional. You can trust that I am working hard to make your vision come to life and be confident that I have as much passion and attention for detail for your day as you do. I only take on a limited number of weddings each year in order for me to be able to give your special day the level of attention it deserves so please get it touch if you think I'm the wedding florist for you. 

Sustainability is an important aspect of my business. I  use eco-friendly mechanics,  minimise the use of single use plastic and try to avoid painted and preserved materials. I buy seasonally and strive to use British grown flowers when possible. The floristry industry is working hard to develop its sustainability credentials and I am following the developments and endeavour to incorporate them into my practice.
